I photograph, l listen, I watch chemicals move. I think often about vision: how delicate it is, how easily disturbed. We do not simply see: we translate, we project, we sense. In this fragility, everything is already in motion. In a language of light leaks and paper edges, I follow what breaks, escapes, and refuses to stay still.
The image, like a thought, arrives unfinished:
shifting, resisting and never quite whole.
Laura Anna Rossa (°1998) is a photographer and visual artist based in Belgium. With a master’s degree in clinical psychology, she explores themes of perception, presence and fragility through alternative photographic processes. Using a self-built camera box, she creates tactile images that move between her own world and others. Her work often combines photography with poetry and illustration.
She is currently studying photography at Sint Lukas Brussels and was selected for the Canon Student Development Program in 2024.
